Day 1 Depart UK: From selected UK airports.

Day 2 Cairo: A day to explore some of the legendary sights of Cairo including the magnificent Pyramids, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The entrance to the pyramids is guarded over by the human-headed, lion-bodied Sphinx, the oldest of all Egypt's sculptures.Continue to the Egyptian Museum which has over 100,000 exhibits, including Tutankhamun's famous tomb.

Day 3 Cairo/Luxor: Short one hour flight to Luxor. The remainder of the day is at leisure in this bustling city which is home to vast temples, ancient royal tombs and fascinating river scenery.

Day 4 Luxor: Enjoy a full day touring the sights of the West Bank of Luxor including the Valley of the Kings and Queens. For centuries the Valley of the Kings was the burial site for Pharoahs, the most famous being that of Tutankhamun, while the royal wives were buried in the Valley of the Queens.

Day 5 Luxor: Day at leisure to further explore this fascinating city. Perhaps head for the East Bank where you can explore the Temples of Karnak, one of the most important religious centres of Egypt. Also not to be missed is the Luxor Temple which was connected to the Karnak Temple by the Avenue of Sphinxes.

Day 6 Luxor/Hurghada: Morning transfer by road from Luxor to the beautiful beach resort of Hurghada on the western shores of the Red Sea.

Day 7/9 Hurghada: Three days at leisure in this lively cosmopolitan resort where the stunning backdrop of magnificent mountains and rugged desert scenery make it a superb location for chilling out after touring. Perhaps take a trip aboard a glass bottomed boat to observe the wonders of the Red Sea. Or if you prefer a closer look at the multi-coloured marine life and coral reefs the the warm waters are perfect for diving or snorkelling.

Day 10 Hurghada/Cairo: One hour flight to Cairo. Head for one of Cairo's unique bazaars to shop for souvenirs. In the evening enjoy a stunning sound and light show at the Pyramids in Giza for an unforgettable end to your tour.

Day 11 Cairo/UK: Extend your stay? Or departure to the UK.
