Blue Lagoon Adventure - Longhouse Dormitory
Day 1 Kuching/Blue Lagoon - Travel light for your morning journey 155 miles by road, approximately five hours. Transfer by boat and ‘go local’ in dormitory style accommodation - an opportunity to experience an original Iban longhouse dormitory style before enjoying a short evening nature walk. Overnight: Longhouse dormitory 2 nights. (L,D)
Day 2 Blue Lagoon - Travel by longboat towards the Lemanak River to an Iban settlement and traditional style longhouse built on stilts deep in one of the world’s oldest rainforests. Observe ancient crafts, experience a blow pipe demonstration by traditionally clad natives. Return down river and journey for one hour to your dormitory. Afternoon at leisure. (B,L,D)

Day 3 Blue Lagoon/Kuching - Travel for over six hours, initially by boat and then by road to Kuching. (B,L)

This tour, by its sheer nature, will suit some and be impossible for others and is not recommended to the less mobile. It is soft adventure and the terrain can be unpredictable. Longhouse accommodation is basic with limited facilities.
