Day 1 Kota Kinabalu/Mulu - Morning flight to Mulu, deep in the Borneo rainforest. After lunch take a 2 mile walk into Deer Cave then Lang Cave to view beautiful stalactites and rock corals before proceeding to the observatory to watch the spectacular sight as millions of bats fly out of the cave in the evening. Overnight: Royal Mulu Resort 2 nights. (D)
Day 2 Mulu - Morning departure by longboat before climbing over 200 steps to explore the Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave, the longest in the world through which a 63 mile underground river flows beneath the Mulu National Park. Lunch is picnic style on the banks of Clearwater Pool where you can swim in cool water before transferring back to the resort for dinner. (B,L,D)
Day 3 Mulu/Kota Kinabalu - After breakfast return to the airport for your return flight to Kota Kinabalu in Sabah. (B)
Departures: Monday or Wednesday from Kota Kinabalu.
Price includes: Flights from Kota Kinabalu, transfers to and from your hotel, two nights accommodation, services of an English speaking guide and entrance fees.

This tour, by its sheer nature, will suit some and be impossible for others and is not recommended to the less mobile. It is soft adventure and accommodation is usually basic with limited facilities and the terrain can also be unpredictable. Flight luggage is limited to 10kgs per person from Kota Kinabalu to Mulu. Minimum of two passengers. A good level of fitness is required for the excursion especialy on day 2.
