Day 1: Fly to Sydney.
Days 3-4 Sydney: On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day and the following day are at leisure to discover the delights of this city. Don’t miss the iconic Sydney Opera House or perhaps take a trip to nearby Manly Beach.
Day 5 Sydney/Cruise: At leisure before your transfer to the port to board the ship.
Day 6 At sea: Whatever your interests, indulge them aboard Azamara. Enrich yourself with an informative lecture, shop leisurely in the boutiques, participate in dance lessons or treat yourself at the spa..
Days 7-8 Hobart, Australia:: A day and a half to explore the Tasmanian capital. Stroll along the historic waterfront, famous for its Georgian architecture. Make your way to Salamanca Place whose rows of sandstone buildings are filled with bars, galleries and restaurants. Why not head just outside the city to Mount Wellington, which serves as a picture-perfect backdrop to the city, for a little hiking.
Days 9-10 At sea: Enjoy a full range of complimentary onboard fitness and nutrition classes, or attend a lecture by Azamara’s own onboard experts.
Day 11 Milford Sound, New Zealand: This morning the ship cruises glorious Milford Sound, a fusion of spectacular natural features with amazing vistas around every corner.
Days 12-13 Dunedin, New Zealand: Known as both the City of Literature and the Edinburgh of the South, Dunedin is sure to be a pleasant chapter in your voyage. Tour the city to admire the Flemish architecture, explore the vineyards of the Otago Peninsula or view the wildlife.
Day 14 Akaroa, New Zealand: Home to the small and rare Hector’s Dolphin, Akaroa is a haven for animal lovers. Why not take a dolphin spotting tour where you may also see New Zealand fur seals, little blue penguins and other marine life around the sheltered harbour. If you prefer to stay on dry land, take a tour of an alpaca farm or simply view the colonial architecture, crafts and cafés found on the streets of this charming seaside town.
Day 15 Picton, New Zealand: Like most of New Zealand, this seaside town and the surrounding area will delight outdoor enthusiasts. Choose your own adventure and go fishing, swimming or perhaps go bird watching.
Days 16-17 Napier, New Zealand: An afternoon and morning to view the spectacular Art Deco buildings or nearby local vineyards. Another option is to visit the gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers.
Day 18 Tauranga, New Zealand: A popular seaside getaway on the North Island where you can relax on a beach, go dolphin watching or see the geysers of Te Puia.
Day 19 Cruise/Auckland: Disembark and transfer to your hotel.
Day 20 Auckland, New Zealand: Sightsee at your leisure in the beautiful City of Sails. Perhaps take a trip to the top of the Sky Tower or go on a harbour cruise.
Day 21 Auckland/Kuala Lumpur: Transfer to the airport for your flight. On arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 22 Kuala Lumpur: A full day at leisure. Enjoy sweeping views of the city from the skybridge and observation deck of the Petronas Twin Towers. There’s also colonial-era landmarks such as the Railway Station and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.
Day 23 Kuala Lumpur: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Akaroa.
