Our suggested itinerary is a starting point
We're specialists in tailor-made holidays, where we can adapt each itinerary to suit your requirements
Days 1-4 Sydney
Fly to Sydney and transfer to your hotel, with the rest of the day free to settle in. Spend your time exploring at leisure. Head to Darling Harbour for views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, take the ferry to seaside Manly, wander the historic Rocks neighbourhood, or stroll the Royal Botanic Gardens for more harbour views.
Consider pre-booking a sightseeing tour, or our highly recommended Blue Mountains Deluxe Day Tour (at extra expense) taking in a working farm, the Three Sisters at Eaglehawk, the towering Govett's Leap waterfall and Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens. On your final day, browse the boutiques of Surry Hills, explore Barangaroo, or spend a few hours on world-famous Bondi Beach.
Days 5-6 Uluru
At leisure before transferring to the airport for your flight north. On arrival, head to your hotel. You are free to explore this incredible landscape as you wish. However, we would recommend setting an early alarm call so that you don’t miss the sun rising over this ancient monolith. Our featured Uluru & Kata Tjuta Sunrise Tour (at extra expense) allows you to do just that and also includes time at Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and has a guided walk in Walpa Gorge (see page 59).
Days 7-10 Cairns
At leisure before the flight to Cairns. On arrival make your way to your hotel and the rest of the day is yours. This modern, laid back city boasts a swimming lagoon, busy marina, beachfront and alfresco dining, as well as a promenade with coffee shops and restaurants catering to all budgets and tastes. However, no visit to the Tropical North would be complete without experiencing the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.
Alternatively, head out on a tour to see the incredible Daintree Rainforest, it's a sight that is sure to live long in the memory. Please ask about the array of tours we can offer you (at extra expense).
Day 11 Cairns
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey, or why not extend your stay?
