Our suggested itinerary is a starting point
We're specialists in tailor-made holidays, where we can adapt each itinerary to suit your requirements
Day 1 Hervey Bay
Depart Hervey Bay on a 50 minute ferry crossing to K'gari, the largest sand island in the world located on the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef. On arrival head to the Kingfisher Bay Resort where the remainder of the day is free to enjoy. Perhaps take a stroll down to the idyllic white sand beach where you can sit and watch a spectacular sunset.
When it comes to dining this evening, the chefs at the resort draw their inspiration from the island's traditional owners - the Butchulla people - and turn out exquisite dishes that reflect Aussie bush heritage.
Day 2 K'gari (Fraser Island)
Wake to the sweet songs of birdlife and look forward to a full day of adventure in the company of an expert ranger. Highlights include island beauty spots such as gorgeous Lake McKenzie, Central Station and Wanggoolba Creek, Pile Valley's awe-inspiring Satinay and Brush Box forests, 75 Mile Beach's famous highway, the Maheno shipwreck, the coloured sands of The Pinnacles, and the relaxing fresh waters of Eli Creek. Make sure you take your sunscreen and swimwear as you'll have the opportunity to take a dip along the way.
Day 3 K'gari (Fraser Island)
At leisure before the return ferry to Hervey Bay where your tour concludes.
