On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Settle in before stepping out to get your first feel for this wonderful city, which has it all: sun-drenched beaches, rich culture and a deliciously diverse food and drink scene. Thanks to a central location, your hotel puts you within steps of enticing eateries, so you can get your first taste of the city this evening!

The morning is yours to explore as you wish. Perhaps take a stroll through Kings Park, which is regarded as the green heart of the city and also boasts extensive city and river views. This afternoon, join a walking tour which starts at the historic Perth Town Hall and then winds through the city's fascinating lanes and arcades. Along the way you'll hear all about the stories, people and places that make Perth what it is, and may explore landmarks such as the State Buildings, London Court and Wolf Lane.

Make your way to Barrack Street Jetty for the ferry to Rottnest Island, a paradise for those who love the beach and nature. On arrival board a heritage train for a ride to Oliver Hill, where along with a Gun Fortification and tunnels, there is a majestic lookout point. After a light sandwich lunch, a guided bus tour of the island commences, which takes in many of the island's sights, its stunning beaches, diverse wildlife and more. Late afternoon, take the return ferry to Perth for an evening to spend as you wish.

If time allows, why not head to iconic Cottesloe Beach, which is as pretty as a picture and one of the city's most popular spots. Alternatively, perhaps wander the narrow streets of neighbouring Fremantle? If you feel in need of some retail therapy, you'll find no end of shopping opportunities, either within the CBD itself or in some of Perth's characterful neighbourhoods. Your tour ends with a transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
