Perth to Monkey Mia Coastal Loop

Travel up the Indian Ocean Drive to Geraldton, where you stop for lunch before venturing further up the coast to must-see Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake. Just south of Kalbarri, take a leisurely walk between the Natural Bridge and Castle Cove before continuing to Kalbarri.

Start early to catch a glimpse of the Murchison Gorge, Nature's Window and the Kalbarri Skywalk in Kalbarri National Park, where water has carved its way through sandstone. Continue to remarkable Shell Beach where there's time for a stroll. At Monkey Mia, you'll stay right beside the beach and if time allows, you could hire a kayak and go for a paddle (at extra expense) or simply relax.

This morning, meet with the famous Monkey Mia dolphins, which are sure to be a holiday highlight. You're then free to enjoy the beaches or head out on an optional wildlife cruise in search of dugongs, turtles, sharks and more (at extra expense and pre-booking required). This afternoon, drive to Geraldton, stopping enroute at Overlander Road House and Galena Bridge for photo opportunities.

Enjoy the HMAS Sydney Memorial and visit the Point Moore Lighthouse. At Port Denison, walk along the foreshore to the lookout before heading back along the Indian Ocean Road. Stop in Jurien Bay for a walk along the jetty before continuing to the lovely town of Cervantes where there's a guided tour through their lobster factory. Next is amazing Nambung National Park to wander around the strange and eerie Pinnacles Desert before returning to Perth early evening.
