On Bali's stunning north west coast is The Menjangan, a peaceful retreat in one of the most beautiful parts of the island. The mountainous West Bali National Park consists of primary monsoon forest, mangroves, savannah, sea grass, coral reefs, sandy beaches and deep sea waters. At Menjangan Island you'll find colourful coral reef gardens, making it perfect for snorkelling and diving. On land, set out on foot to investigate the jungle, jump on a mountain bike or experience the park's beauty by horseback. Keep your eyes peeled for birds, the unique Menjangan deer, perhaps a monitor lizard sunning himself on a warm rock or even a family of monkeys in search of lunch.
The underwater world has good conditions year round. On land, the rainy season of West Bali National Park lasts from December to February, however it’s generally warm throughout the year and rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours.
A visa may be required. Please ask for details.
The Menjangan is around 3 hours 30 minutes drive from Bali’s southern beach resorts or the airport
