On this full day tour you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your early flight to Sandakan and on arrival you will transfer to the Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Here, you get to observe these endearing creatures being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat. Take a guided walk through the forest to the feeding platform where the animals are fed twice a day. You'll also visit the outdoor nursery to learn about the management of the juvenile orang-utans. Continue to the neighbouring Sun Bear Conservation Centre, where rescued animals enjoy life in the enclosed forest. After lunch sit back and enjoy a drive through Sandakan city before the return flight back to Kota Kinabalu.

A sanctuary set up in 1964 to help orphaned orangutans; the viewing platform at Sepilok offers a unique opportunity to observe these captivating creatures up close in their natural habitat during feeding times– a truly special experience.
Sun Bear Conservation Centre
Visit the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation to see the world's smallest bears in an enclosed forest. After lunch at a local restaurant take a tour of Sandakan town including the Buli-Sim Sim water village, and the British war memorial.
