The climate of Nova Scotia can be summed up as moderate as it rarely gets extremely hot or extremely cold, although it does fluctuate depending on your proximity to the ocean. Generally, summer temperatures hover in the mid 20's, spring and autumn ranges from 0-20c and winter will see temperatures either just or below freezing.
