Experience the spectacular scenery of Western Canada on an unforgettable rail adventure. Begin with three nights in cosmopolitan Vancouver before boarding the iconic Rocky Mountaineer for the two-day ‘Journey through the Clouds’ to Jasper, travelling past rushing rivers, deep canyons and towering peaks, with an overnight stop in Kamloops. Spend three nights in Jasper National Park, then follow the Icefields Parkway on a Glacier Adventure to Banff for three final nights surrounded by turquoise lakes and dramatic mountain landscapes.

Days 1-3 Vancouver
Land in Vancouver, a beautiful coastal city surrounded by mountains and ocean, and spend your first three nights exploring its highlights. Discover the vibrant waterfront and historic Gastown, stroll through the beautiful Stanley Park and visit Granville Island with its lively market and local food scene.
Day 4 Kamloops
Board the iconic Rocky Mountaineer, travelling east from Vancouver through some of British Columbia’s most spectacular scenery. Enjoy a relaxing day aboard the train as you pass dramatic mountain ranges, deep valleys, rushing rivers and pristine wilderness, with panoramic views from the large windows. Arrive in Kamloops for an overnight stay and spend the night in the city, surrounded by the rugged landscapes of the British Columbia interior.
Days 5-7 Jasper National Park
Climb back aboard the Rocky Mountaineer en route to Jasper. As you enter the Canadian Rockies, admire the towering mountains, sparkling rivers and beautiful forests, with highlights including the spectacular Fraser Canyon and the impressive Mount Robson area. Arrive in Jasper and settle in for a three-night stay in this peaceful mountain town, renowned for its spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife and pristine wilderness. Visit the stunning Maligne Lake and enjoy the views from the Jasper SkyTram.
There is also the opportunity to travel along the scenic Icefields Parkway and see beautiful lakes, glaciers and waterfalls, while keeping an eye out for elk, bears and other Canadian wildlife.
Days 8-10 Banff
Travel on towards Banff, enjoying one of the world’s most scenic mountain drives along the Icefields Parkway. Stop at highlights such as Athabasca Falls, the Columbia Icefield and the turquoise waters of Peyto Lake. During your three-night stay, explore the charming town, visit the famous Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, take the Banff Gondola for panoramic mountain views and relax in the natural hot springs. The surrounding national park offers plenty of opportunities for scenic walks, wildlife viewing and enjoying the breathtaking alpine scenery.
Day 11 Depart
Head to Calgary airport for your onward flight home.
