Day 1 Douglas
On arrival make your way to your hotel.
Days 2-5 Isle of Man
For the majority of your stay, you’re free to explore as you wish and to make things easy a 5 day GO Explore Heritage Pass is included. This fantastic pass not only gives you admission to 13 Manx National Heritage Sites but also includes unlimited public transport across the island.
So, perhaps take the Manx Electric Railway to Laxey to visit the Great Wheel or, board the Steam Train to Castletown and explore Castle Rushen, the choice is yours! To further enhance your tour, look forward to a guided 6 hour Taste of the Isle of Man experience which uncovers the island’s fascinating history, wild coastline and timeless landmarks all in one unforgettable day. Make time also to stroll along the promenade of Douglas, visit the impressive working harbour of Ramsey or idle away an hour or so on Port Erin’s sandy beach. If all that’s not enough, there’s also inspiring walking trails and landscapes alive with wildlife, a rich folklore and vibrant culture woven into daily life. In addition, see page 95 for a selection of more pre-bookable excursions. Whether your days are action-packed or pleasantly relaxed, you’ll be sure to have built up an appetite and the island certainly delivers when it comes to food and drink. Be it mouthwatering afternoon tea at the countless cafés and tea rooms, or savouring succulent meats, flavoursome seafood and home brewed beers at the selection of fine restaurants and pubs, you’re in for a treat.
Day 6 Isle of Man/Mainland UK
Head back to the port for your return journey to the mainland, taking with you lots of happy memories of your time in this extraordinary isle.
