Day 1 Windhoek
Fly to Windhoek.
Day 2 Windhoek
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 Windhoek
Depart Windhoek for the Namib Desert. The afternoon is yours to relax or take part in optional lodge activities.
Day 4 Namib Desert
Enter the Namib Naukluft National Park at sunrise and marvel as the sun's rays paint the sand various red hues. Scale one of the majestic dunes then visit Sesriem Canyon, a life sustaining natural phenomenon in the heart of the desert.
Day 5 Namib Desert
Visit the settlement of Solitaire. Continue to Walvis Bay to visit its shallow lagoon, an important wetland area and RAMSAR World Heritage Site. Over 80% of African flamingos feed here and are an amazing sight when they appear in groups. Continue to Swakopmund.
Day 6 Swakopmund
At leisure to embrace this idyllic coastal towns relaxed pace. Alternatively, explore the rugged desert on a day tour, such as a scenic flight or, extreme adventures such as skydiving, quad biking and sand boarding (all at extra expense).
Day 7 Swakopmund
Head further north into the Damaraland. This harsh, rocky environment is home to the elusive desert elephant, the black rhino and free-roaming antelope species.
Day 8 Damaraland
Embark on an early morning scenic nature drive through Otjimboyo Concession as you head for the Brandberg, Namibia's highest mountain. Continue into the dry Ugab riverbed and stop for a light picnic lunch. Keep watch for the elusive desert elephant before returning to camp.
Day 9 Damaraland
Accompanied by a Damara guide, visit UNESCO listed Twyfelfontein where Bushman communities engraved and painted over 2,500 pictures some 6,000 years ago! Later, visit the Living Museum of the Damara and the Petrified Forest before heading to Etosha National Park.
Day 10 Etosha National Park
Discover Etosha National Park's abundant wildlife, home to four of the Big Five - elephant, lion, leopard and rhino as well as numerous other species, including many which are considered endangered.
Day 11 Etosha National Park
Enjoy a further game drive in the Etosha National Park, or can book an open vehicle game drive (at extra expense).
Day 12 Etosha National Park
Return to Windhoek, stopping enroute (if time allows) at a local market for souvenirs. Your tour ends in Windhoek for your onward journey.
