Days 1-2 Auckland
Depart the UK for Auckland.
Days 3-4 Auckland
Take time to explore this bustling harbourfront city. With the Āmiki City Meander Cultural Tour and a trip to beautiful Waiheke Island included you’ll experience both culture and exceptional wine.
Days 5-6 Rotorua
Regarded as the home of geothermal landscapes and Maori culture, Rotorua is filled with cultural and heritage attractions. Enjoy a fabulous evening at the Te Pā Tū Cultural Experience.
Day 7 Napier
Travel east to the Hawke’s Bay, a place of sensational wineries, artisan food producers, a dramatic coastline and Napier, home to one of the most complete collections of Art Deco architecture in the world.
Day 9 Martinborough
This delightful wine region in the Wairarapa is famed for its pinot noir and filled with boutique wineries, many within walking distance of the village.
Days 10-11 Marlborough
Forming part of the Classic New Zealand Wine Trail, the Marlborough region is home to many world-renowned wineries and cellar doors. A tour of the region in included taking in the vineyards and the beautiful Marlborough Sounds.
Days 12-13 Kaikoura
This coastal town is where the Seaward Kaikoura Ranges meet the Pacific Ocean and is famed for its marine life which, includes giant sperm whales, dusky dolphins and fur seals.
Days 14-15 Christchurch
This is the South Island’s largest city, a lively hub of arts and culture, heritage and green open spaces. All surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.
Day 16 Lake Tekapo
Famed for the turquoise waters of its glacial lake and the Church of the Good Shepherd, this lakeside town is encircled by breathtaking alpine scenery and conveniently located close to some of the South Island’s most impressive natural attractions including Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park.
Days 17-19 Queenstown
This vibrant alpine resort lies around the shores of Lake Wakatipu and offers a multitude of experiences. From fabulous dining and wine tours to lake cruises, backcountry 4WD tours, all manner of adrenalin thrills and daily excursions to Milford and Doubtful Sound.

New Zealand entry requirements: If you are a British passport holder, you will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). You can apply for this either via the Immigration NZ website at: at a charge of NZ$23 or on the mobile app (search for NZeTA) at a charge of NZ$17. The ETA will be valid for two years and can be used for multiple visits to New Zealand. In addition, at the same time you apply for an ETA, an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) will also be collected. The cost of this is NZ$100. The IVL is a way for travellers to contribute directly to the tourism infrastructure they use and help protect the natural environment they enjoy during their stay in New Zealand. Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements. THE FOREIGN OFFICE WEBSITE ALWAYS CARRIES THE MOST UP TO DATE INFORMATION: New Zealand - Traveller Declaration requirements Travellers currently need to complete a Passenger Arrival Card before passing through Customs Passport Control. It is handed out onboard the flight to New Zealand. If not, cards are available in the arrival area or travellers arriving at selected international airports in New Zealand will be able to complete an online declaration.
