Our suggested itinerary is a starting point
We're specialists in tailor-made holidays, where we can adapt each itinerary to suit your requirements
Day 1 Fly to Glasgow
On arrival collect your car and make your way to your hotel.
Day 2 Glasgow/Isle of Arran
Drive to Ardrossan or Troon for the ferry to Brodick, Isle of Arran. Head on to your hotel and if time allows, get your explorations of this beautiful island underway. You’ll soon discover what a special place it is, with granite peaks to the north, lush undulating pastures to the south, and lots of lovely villages dotted about, each with its own special character.
Day 3 Isle of Arran
Perhaps pop into Arran Heritage Museum or Brodick Castle, see the Standing Stones on Machrie Moor or head to Whiting Bay to take a picturesque walk to Glenashdale Falls. There’s also Kildonan whose shores are popular with seals and otters and perhaps take a tour of one of the island’s distilleries, Lochranza or Lagg. The island is also hailed as Scotland’s foodie hotspot, boasting a varied selection of food and drink, much of it locally produced.
Day 4 Isle of Arran/Isle of Mull
After a morning ferry from Lochranza to Claonaig (Kintyre), drive to Oban for a mid/late afternoon ferry to Craignure, Isle of Mull. Drive to your hotel.
Days 5-6 Isle of Mull
Charming Tobermory is Mull’s main town with a range of shops, eateries and its coloured houses. Further island attractions include historic Duart Castle, the stunning white sands of Calgary Bay and the island’s only Munro, Ben More. You may also like to take an ethical boat trip in search of wildlife, or hop on a ferry across to the Isle of Iona to visit its sacred abbey. You’ll find local produce on the menu and for whisky lovers, the distillery in Tobermory awaits.
Day 7 Isle of Mull/Oban
Return by ferry to Oban and make your way to your hotel.
Day 8 Oban/Glasgow
Drive to Glasgow airport where your tour concludes with your onward journey.
