Day 1 Fly to Glasgow
On arrival collect your hire car and drive on to Oban.
Day 2 Oban/Isle of Barra
Perhaps stroll around the town before catching your ferry to Castlebay, Isle of Barra. Make your way to your hotel.
Day 3 Isle of Barra
Understand the influence of past on present by visiting iconic Kisimul Castle at Castlebay or the deserted village of Eoradail on Vatersay. View the seals at Seal Bay, stroll part of the Hebridean Way and enjoy surfing at Cleat.
Day 4 Isle of Barra/Uist
Take the ferry across to the islands of Uist which include South Uist, North Uist and Benbecula. Drive on to your hotel, which will be on one of these islands (depending on hotel availability).
Day 5 Uist
With serene beaches to the west and rugged hills and moorland to the east, Uist provides opportunities for hiking, spotting rare birds or simply absorbing the tranquillity. It’s also known for traditional Gaelic language and crofting culture.
Day 6 Uist/Harris or Lewis
Take the ferry from Berneray, North Uist to Leverburgh, South Harris. Travel on to your chosen hotel on Harris or Lewis (depending on hotel availability).
Day 7 Harris or Lewis
Harris is known for its rich traditions and captivating scenery, while Lewis boasts distinctive archaeology, countless lochs, impressive cliffs and stunning beaches.
Day 8 Harris or Lewis/Ullapool
Depart Stornoway (Isle of Lewis) by ferry and on arrival in Ullapool, drive on to your hotel. This evening, be sure to check out the waterfront which is lined with seafood eateries and local art galleries.
Day 9 Ullapool/Inverness
Drop off the car at Inverness airport and the tour ends with your onward journey.

The lead-in price shown includes return travel by air from Birmingham, Bristol, Gatwick or Luton, 8 days economy car hire, inter-island ferry travel and accommodation.

One way drop fee of £65 for car hire payable locally. If you prefer to drive yourself, rather than have flights, a land-only tour price is available on request. Why not extend your stay in Inverness?
