Day 1 Fly to Cape Town
Days 2-4 Cape Town
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or perhaps step out and start getting to know the Mother City. For the next few days, explore as you wish. Sights include iconic Table Mountain, which can be reached by cable car (weather permitting), the bustling Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the colourful Bo-Kapp district.
Days 5-6 The Blue Train
Transfer to the station and begin your journey aboard the iconic Blue Train for two nights. Admire the passing scenery before an afternoon discovering diamond mining history in Kimberley. Relax in the elegant lounges or your own suite, and savour the mouthwatering cuisine.
Day 7 Pretoria
On arrival in Pretoria this evening, transfer to your hotel.
Days 8-11 Kruger National Park
Transfer to Johannesburg for a flight to Hoedspruit. On arrival transfer to your game lodge within Kruger National Park. Look forward to two game drives each day in search of the Big Five: elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo, plus many other unique species. Between game drives, unwind beside the pool or perhaps treat yourself at the spa. On your final day, transfer back to Hoedspruit for a flight to Johannesburg and your onward journey.
