Our suggested itinerary is a starting point
We're specialists in tailor-made holidays, where we can adapt each itinerary to suit your requirements
Day 1 Cape Town
On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Cape Town
Your tour includes a one day Hop-on-Hop-off pass, which offers informative audio commentary (including a special audio channel just for children) and gives you an easy, fun way to get your bearings and see the city's major sights. Taking the bus is the best way to get to Table Mountain and back, or you may wish to visit Camps Bay to drink in the stunning views.
Day 3 Cape Town
Day at leisure. Don't miss Victoria and Alfred Waterfront with its boutique shops and restaurants, or perhaps you would like to stroll around the highly acclaimed Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens? The choice is yours!
Day 4 Cape Town
This morning, join a Walk to Freedom tour, which follows in the footsteps of local communities seeing where and how both past and present generations lived, or just existed, during the dark days of apartheid, and experience how people of the townships live today. Highlights include the riveting District Six Museum, the Langa Township, which is the oldest apartheid housing scheme in the Cape, and visit the local market - Gugu Sthebe, where the community showcase their skills in various arts and crafts.
Day 5 Cape Town
A further day at leisure. A ferry ride to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were imprisoned, is recommended, but must be booked in advance (at extra expense).
Day 6 Cape Town
Morning tour to Cape Point which begins with a peek at the glamorous homes of Clifton Beach and Camps Bay, before driving on to charming Hout Bay. Snake along the legendary Chapman's Peak Drive towards the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park, see the penguins of Boulders Beach and visit the historical naval port of Simon's Town. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 7 Cape Town
Transfer back to Cape Town airport for your onward journey.
