Day 1 Johannesburg & Pretoria
Enjoy pre-departure drinks and snacks at The Blue Train Station Lounge before boarding and familiarising yourself with your suite. The train sets off at 1pm and soon after you head to the Dining Car for what's sure to be a delicious lunch. The afternoon is yours to meet with fellow travellers, relax in your suite and feast on High Tea in the Lounge Car. As the sun sets on your first day, it's time to dress up for dinner and perhaps a post-dinner drink before retiring to your suite for the night.
Day 2 Johannesburg & Pretoria
Disembark early this morning and board an open safari vehicle for a sunrise game drive in the company of professional guides. This is Big Five country (elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo), as well as being the home to many other species of unique wildlife, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled at all times. You will then have a bush breakfast at an exclusive unfenced location inside the Kruger National Park before returning to the train for time to unwind.
After another gourmet lunch, disembark once more for a sunset game drive on the Nkambeni concession in the hope of spying more incredible wildlife. At the Nkambeni Safari Camp experience a spectacular boma dinner with an interactive cultural experience before transferring back to The Blue Train.
Day 3 Johannesburg & Pretoria
The journey concludes as the train returns to Pretoria at 10am.
