Best time to go
The weather in Colombo is fairly temperate throughout the year, however it experiences two monsoons and a dry season. The dry season between December and March brings hot and humid weather with an average temperature of around 27ºC. The monsoon takes place between May to August and again from October to January. However, temperatures average at about 28ºC and you can expect heavy downfalls, however they rarely last all day.
