Begin in Salt Lake City before heading to Moab; the perfect base for discovering the incredible red-rock scenery of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Continue to the iconic Monument Valley, before spending two nights in Torrey and exploring the dramatic landscapes of Capitol Reef National Park. The journey then takes you to Bryce Canyon National Park, followed by two nights in Springdale, the gateway to the breathtaking scenery of Zion National Park. Finish your adventure in the charming mountain town of Park City, where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before returning home. This self-drive holiday is the perfect way to experience the very best of Utah at your own pace.

Day 1 Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City is an ever-evolving metropolitan hub where you can explore art, breweries, music and a vibrant culinary scene, all against breathtaking landscapes. Take some time to explore the downtown area, enjoy the local dining scene and soak up the spectacular backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains before beginning your road trip.

Days 2-4 Moab

A hub for outdoor recreation, Moab is surrounded by scenic rivers, forests and a stunning red rock landscape. In Downtown Moab enjoy the array of restaurants, microbreweries, shops and galleries.

Day 5 Monument Valley

Wind through more of the Southwest’s incredible scenery to Monument Valley, one of the most iconic locations on the planet and a backdrop for many famous western movies over the years. Consider hopping aboard a 4x4 jeep for a Navajo guided tour which is sure to be a memorable experience (at extra expense).

Days 6-7 Torrey (Capitol Reef National Park)

Next, drive to the charming gateway to the spectacular landscapes of Capitol Reef National Park. Surrounded by dramatic red-rock cliffs, canyons and scenic drives, Torrey is the perfect base for exploring one of Utah’s most underrated natural treasures. Take your time to discover the park’s incredible scenery, enjoy the peaceful small-town atmosphere and experience the beauty of Utah’s rugged backcountry.

Days 8-9 Bryce Canyon National Park & Utah

Journey on and marvel at Bryce Canyon’s crimson-coloured hoodoos. Explore dramatic red-rock formations, catch sunrise at iconic viewpoints, and wander spectacular rim canyon trails. Weather permitting, gaze up at the night sky as it fills with sparkling stars and brilliant constellations.

Days 10-11 Springdale

Springdale is the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Zion National Park. Surrounded by towering red-rock cliffs and dramatic canyon scenery, the town offers a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of local restaurants, galleries and outdoor activities.

Day 12 Park City

Drive on to Park City, which blends a silver mining heritage with a diverse selection of fine restaurants. Stroll along the historic Main Street and soak up the relaxed alpine atmosphere, with the beautiful Wasatch Mountains providing a stunning backdrop. It’s a lovely final stop to unwind and reflect on an incredible road trip before heading home.

Day 13 Salt Lake City

Return your car to the airport for your onward journey home.
