Liberation Day: The Channel Islands were the only part of the British Isles to be occupied by German forces in WW2. The five year occupation came to an end on 9th May 1945 and Liberation Day is a public holiday and still celebrated annually.

Jersey International Air Display: The skies above Jersey have enjoyed an annual air display for over 60 years, delighting visitors and locals alike. Set in beautiful St Aubin’s Bay in September, there are many different vantage points to view one of Europe’s finest free air shows. The event also boasts two major static displays of aircraft, one at Jersey Airport and the other in People’s Park St Helier.

Tennerfest: While island food and drink is celebrated as much as possible, visitors to Jersey can look forward to six weeks of great meals at fixed prices during the annual Tennerfest (October-early November). With special menus starting at just £10, many restaurants offer a wide and exciting selection of food during the festival.
