Day 1: Fly to Shanghai.
Day 2 Shanghai: On arrival make your own way to your hotel.
Day 3 Shanghai, China: A day at leisure for independent sightseeing within this intoxicating city. Take a walk along The Bund beside Shanghai’s waterfront; visit the fascinating Shanghai Museum or see the enchanting Yu Yuan Garden, a classic creation from the Ming Dynasty.
Day 4 Shanghai/Cruise: At leisure before you are make your way to the port to board Celebrity Millennium.
Days 5-6 At sea: With two full days at sea you have ample time to discover the ship is one big playground with activities galore.
Day 7 Beijing (Tianjin), China: The ship docks in Tianjin, which is around a three hour drive from Beijing. Sights not to be missed include Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.
Days 8-9 Beijing (Tianjin), China: Two further days in Tianjin. Optional shore excursions can be booked and include a trip to the awe-inspiring Great Wall of China for a chance to walk along a section that snakes along the crest of the mountains, affording incredible views of the valley and wall itself.
Day 10 At sea: Treat yourself to a pampering treatment at the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, a true oasis of calm.
Day 11 Seoul (Incheon), South Korea: This city is a mix of modern skyscrapers, ancient palaces, Buddhist temples and tranquil gardens.
Day 12 Jeju Island, South Korea: This tropical island enchants with its sandy beaches and swaying palm trees. If lazing isn’t your style, there are waterfalls, scuba diving and hiking options which will all keep you busy.
Day 13 At sea: A holiday isn’t a holiday without a day spent lounging by the pool, so grab your favourite book and perhaps enjoy a beverage from the poolside bar. Situated on the top deck, you’ll be treated to beautiful panoramic views.
Day 14 Kobe, Japan: The ship reaches Kobe at midday. The fifth largest city in Japan it is the site of hot spring resorts and also the gateway to Kyoto, Japan’s ancient imperial capital. In Kobe itself, the Kobe Port Tower is an iconic landmark offering heart-stopping views from its upper deck. If heights aren’t your thing, sample the local speciality - teppanyaki-grilled Kobe beef.
Day 15 Kobe, Japan: Step ashore and continue to explore Kobe or, alternatively, book a shore excursion travelling by the high-speed Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto.
Day 16 Mt Fuji (Shimzu), Japan: Morning at sea before reaching Shimizu, a beautiful port with Mount Fuji soaring above the surrounding area. Optional excursions are available to Hakone National Park for a closer view of Mount Fuji, but Shimizu has many attractions of its own. There are unforgettable medieval castle ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage listed ancient pine grove and exquisite traditional gardens.
Day 17 Tokyo (Yokohama), Japan: Tokyo may be among the largest cities in the world, but it still maintains its charm. Highlights include the Imperial Palace and Senso-ji, which is Tokyo’s most visited temple.
Day 18 Cruise/Tokyo: Disembark this morning and make your way to your centrally situated hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to continue sightseeing.
Day 19 Tokyo: At leisure. Perhaps explore the Tokyo National Museum, enjoy sweeping views from the observation deck of Tokyo Sky Tree or enjoy some retail therapy in the Ginza district.
Day 20 Tokyo: Make your way to the airport for your onward journey.
