Day 1 Kyoto: You will be met at Kansai airport and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Kyoto is Japan’s seventh largest city and home to countless temples, shrines and other historically priceless structures.

Day 2 Kyoto: Today’s half day tour begins at the house of an instructor of the Japanese tea ceremony. The tea master will explain about Japanese tea, the tea ceremony and its long history with Zen Buddhism. You will be able to try your hand at making tea, before enjoying your tea master’s green tea.

Day 3 Kyoto: At leisure for independent sightseeing. Options include Kinakaku-ji the famed Golden Pavilion; Ginkaku-ji Temple which has magnificent halls and gardens; Nijo Castle; Kiyomizu-dera Temple for great city views and don’t miss Gion, Kyoto’s most famous Geisha district.

Day 4 Kyoto: Return transfer to Kansai airport where your tour concludes.
