Day 1: Fly to Singapore.

Day 2 Singapore: On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Relax by the hotel pool or explore lively Clarke Quay.

Day 3 Singapore/cruise: Morning at leisure, so perhaps board the Singapore Flyer for sweeping views or enjoy some retail therapy along Orchard Road. This afternoon, you will be transferred to the port to board Azamara Journey.

Day 4 At sea: Enrich yourself with an informative lecture, shop leisurely in the boutiques, participate in dance lessons or treat yourself at the spa.

Day 5 Bintulu, Malaysia: This former fishing village is the gateway to the magical Similajua National Park, a protected habitat for nesting green turtles. There’s also important archaeological caves in the rainforest of Niah National Park.

Day 6 Bandar Seri Begawan (Muara), Brunei: This majestic city is home to Istana Nural Iman, the largest residential palace in the world, boasting 1,788 rooms! Take a water taxi to the water village of Kampong Ayer to discover the maze of boardwalks, explore the Royal Regalia Museum or watch the sun glisten off the golden domes of the beautiful Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque.

Day 7 Kota Kinabalu, Borneo: A busy, modern city, Kota Kinabalu is the capital of Sabah on Borneo’s northwest coast. Options include a climb up Mt Kinabalu, taking a trek through the rainforest, immersing yourself in indigenous life at the Mari Mari Cultural Village or enjoying snorkelling and swimming at the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park.

Day 8 At sea: Perhaps join an onboard class or lecture?

Morning at sea before reaching Ho Chi Minh City, where, French colonial architecture mixes with modern and Asian influences. Sights include the Ho Chi Minh Museum and Reunification Hall.

Day 10 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: Soak up the infectious buzz of this vibrant city before the ship departs this afternoon?

Day 11 At sea: The library is a peaceful space for reading or relaxing. There’s also interactive digital tabletops so you can make your own postcards and post to social media to share your adventures with friends and family back home.

Day 12 Bangkok (Klong Toey), Thailand: Reach the Thai capital this afternoon and begin your explorations of this bustling, modern city, where traditional culture is ever apparent along with the smiles of its gracious people.

Day 13 Bangkok (Klong Toey), Thailand: Attractions include the majestic Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) and Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn).

Day 14 Bangkok (Klong Toey), Thailand: If in need of some retail therapy Bangkok won’t disappoint, with gleaming malls and colourful markets sure to tempt even the most discerning shopper. The ship departs early afternoon.

Day 15 Koh Samui, Thailand: Spend much of the day in this tiny tropical paradise, where shores are lined with coconut trees and endless white sand beaches.

Day 16 At sea: A day to do as much or as little as you wish.

Day 17 Singapore: Disembark this morning and transfer to your hotel. Time at leisure to further explore or shop.

Day 18 Singapore: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey?
