The facts:

Getting there: There are no direct flights from the UK to Redang. Fly via KL to Terengganu, then transfer by road for 30 minutes to Merang jetty followed by 50 minute journey by boat.

Best time to travel: Weather tends to be sunny and hot throughout the year although March to October is considered the best time to visit. Between November and February the north east monsoon kicks in and heavy rain does occur.
