Getting there: It is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes by air from Manila to Basuanga on the island of Coron.

Best time to travel: Palawan enjoys a tropical to subtropical climate with two main seasons – the dry from November to May and the rainy from June to October. Temperatures in the dry season range between 25-29C and short bursts of rain can be expected as the seasons change. During the rainy season heavy rain and tropical storms are quite frequent.
