Day 1: Fly to Singapore.

Day 2 Singapore: On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to unwind beside the pool or perhaps step out to Clarke Quay, famous for its stunning waterside restaurants and exciting bars.

Day 3 Singapore/Cruise: Enjoy time to shop, sightsee or relax before you are transferred to the port to board Sapphire Princess.

Days 4-5 At sea: As you set sail you have two full days at sea to spend as you choose. For those keen to stay busy or active there are numerous classes, experiences and sports facilities, while for those who prefer to lounge around, there’s ample deck space and three inviting pools.

Day 6 Bali, Indonesia: Think of Bali and it will no doubt conjure up images of stunning beaches, palm trees and blue, blue ocean. If you’re not tempted by the sand and sea take an excursion inland to Ubud, the island’s cultural and artistic heart, where spectacular rice terraces overlook river valleys and intricately carved temples are hidden away in the lush hill country.

Days 7-8 At sea: Each day a world of exciting activities awaits. Sporting pursuits are available to those who don’t like to sit around, but for those that do, padded loungers invite you to unwind beside the pool or hot tub. If you prefer, head to the onboard library where you’ll find a wide selection, from classics to today’s best sellers.

Day 9 Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Malaysia: From humble beginnings, Kuala Lumpur has evolved into a 21st century metropolis dominated by the tall skyscrapers. A compact city, it’s easily explored on foot and we recommend a stroll around Merdeka Square (or Independence Square), a visit to the highly acclaimed Jamek Mosque or the distinguished Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

Day 10 Penang, Malaysia: A fascinating fusion of the east and west, Penang is the most well-known of Malaysia’s beach destinations. The island is also home to an historic capital, Georgetown, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you’ll discover colonial architecture, churches, mosques, monuments and tumbledown shophouses. Why not hail a rickshaw for a sedate journey around the maze of streets and narrow lanes.

Day 11 Phuket, Thailand: Regarded as the ‘Jewel of the Andaman Sea’, Phuket attracts visitors with wonderful beaches, crystalline waters and dramatic, forested hills. Do consider an excursion to nearby Phi Phi Island or to Phang Nga Bay where limestone cliffs rise out of the sea. Alternatively, make your way to one of the superb stretches of sands, put on your snorkel mask and fins, then wade into the warm waters and watch colourful schools of fish play amongst the coral.

Day 12 At sea: A final full day at sea to indulge in the many wonderful facilities on board. Or perhaps head to the cinema and watch the latest blockbuster?

Day 13 Singapore: All too soon your voyage comes to an end with a morning arrival in Singapore. After disembarking, you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore. Options include bustling Chinatown, viewing the skyline from the Singapore Flyer and the shops of Orchard Road.

Day 14 Singapore: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Alternatively, why not extend your stay in Singapore.
