Days 1-2: Fly to Auckland .
Day 3 Auckland: On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 4 Auckland: A full day at leisure to explore the City of Sails independently. Take in the incredible views from the Sky Tower, the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest building. If you prefer to stay at ground level you’ll find lots to see and do; alternatively, book a harbour cruise and soak up the skyline views from the water.
Day 5 Auckland/Cruise: Further time to sightsee or shop before an afternoon transfer to the port to board Columbus.
Day 6 Tauranga, New Zealand: Well-known for its blue skies, warm climate and sparkling harbour, Tauranga may boast historic Georgian-style buildings but its thoroughly cosmopolitan. Sitting right on the Bay of Plenty, Tauranga is the gateway to the geothermal wonderland and rich Maori heritage of Rotorua.
Day 7 At sea: A day to do as much or as little as you choose. You’ll always find a quiet retreat where you can put your feet up and simply take in the ocean views, or the gym is well-equipped for those in search of activity.
Day 8 Akaroa, New Zealand: This tiny town is a former French settlement that oozes Gallic charm, from its French street names to its pretty painted timber cottages that house an abundance of galleries, local crafts, coffee shops and restaurants. Activities on offer include nature walks, penguin encounters and sailing. Alternatively, an hour’s drive away is the beautiful city of Christchurch where you can stroll by the Avon River, catch a ride on an historic tram or explore the award-winning Botanic Gardens.
Day 9 Picton, New Zealand: Located on the northern tip of South Island, Picton is a lovely town within easy reach of the famed Marlborough wine region. Built around a very sheltered harbour, the town has an attractive seafront, there’s also a floating maritime museum and an aquarium. Other activities include dolphin watching, sea kayaking, mountain biking or fishing.
Days 10-12 At sea: Three full days at sea. Perhaps attend an arts & crafts workshop, learn more about a fascinating subject from a guest speaker, enjoy a relaxing swim, play deck games or join in a quiz. The choice is yours!.
Day 13 Cruise/Sydney: Disembark this morning and you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to begin your explorations or relax at the hotel.
Days 14-15 Sydney: Two full days to discover the many delights of Sydney. You will of course not want to miss seeing the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Hop on a ferry at Circular Quay and head to nearby Manly Beach, stroll around Darling Harbour, visit Taronga Zoo or enjoy the tranquility of the Botanic Gardens.
Day 16 Sydney/Singapore: You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Singapore. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 17 Singapore: A full day to explore. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Little India or Chinatown, dine alfresco at Clarke Quay or enjoy the hustle and bustle of Orchard Road with its many wonderful shops.
Day 18 Singapore: You will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
