Day 1: On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Cape Town: Gain an insight into the magic of the 'Mother City' with an open-top bus city sightseeing tour. Take the cable car to the summit of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for stunning views; see the country's oldest building, The Castle and why not end your day drinking in the stunning views at Camps Bay.
Day 3 Cape Town: Day at leisure. Don't miss Victoria and Alfred Waterfront with its boutique shops and restaurants.
Day 4 Cape Town: Enjoy a Walk to Freedom tour, following in the footsteps of local communities seeing where and how both past and present generations lived, or just existed, during the dark days of apartheid, and experience how people of the townships live today. Attractions include the District Six Museum, the Langa apartheid housing, Tsoga Environment Gardens and a traditional spaza shop and shebeen (pub).
Day 5 Cape Town: A day at leisure. A ferry ride to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years is recommended, but should be booked in advance (additional expense).
Day 6 Cape Town: Take a half day tour of Cape Point which begins with a glimpse of the glamorous homes along Millionaires' Paradise before winding your way towards charming Hout Bay. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park and then the historical naval port of Simon's Town. Rest of day at leisure.
Day 7 Cape Town: A final chance to explore a few more sights before transferring to Cape Town airport for your onward journey.
