Day 1 Kota Kinabalu or Kuching/Mulu: Fly to Mulu, deep in the Borneo rainforest and transfer to the Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa. This afternoon, transfer to Gunung Mulu National Park where you’ll proceed on foot for around two miles to reach Deer Cave and then Lang Cave. Here, you’ll view beautiful stalactites and rock corals before proceeding this evening to the observatory to watch the spectacular sight of millions of bats flying out of the cave entrance. Return to the resort for dinner and time to relax.
Day 2 Mulu: Morning departure by longboat to Batu Bungan Penan Settlement, to observe the tribe lifestyle and perhaps take the opportunity to purchase handicrafts. Travel onwards by longboat to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave, the longest in the world and through which a 63 mile underground river flows. Lunch is picnic style on the banks of Clearwater Pool and later you can enjoy swimming at Clearwater Spring. After lunch, return to the resort for an evening at leisure.
Day 3 Mulu/Kota Kinabalu or Kuching: Morning at leisure before your lunchtime return flight to Kota Kinabalu or Kuching.
Departures: Daily from Kota Kinabalu or Kuching for a minimum of two passengers.
Accommodation: In deluxe rainforest rooms at Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa.
Meals: Half board. Lunch is also included on day 2

A good level of fitness is required for the tour especially on day 2 and is therefore, not recommended for the less mobile.
