Day 1 Kota Kinabalu or Kuching/Mulu: Fly to Mulu, deep in the Borneo rainforest. One of the natural wonders of Borneo the caves are said to be the largest in the world, even large enough to hold 37 jumbo jets! Evening at leisure.
Day 2 Mulu: Morning departure by longboat before climbing over 200 steps to explore the Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave, the longest in the world through which a 63 mile underground river flows beneath the Mulu National Park. Lunch is picnic style on the banks of Clearwater Pool. After lunch take a two mile walk into Deer Cave and then Lang Cave to view beautiful stalactites and rock corals before proceeding to the observatory to watch the spectacular sight of millions of bats flying out of the caves in the evening.
Day 3 Mulu/Kota Kinabalu or Kuching: Morning at leisure before your lunchtime return flight to Kota Kinabalu or Kuching.
Departures: Daily from Kota Kinabalu or Kuching for a minimum of two passengers.
Accommodation: Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa.
Meals: Breakfast. Lunch is also included on day 2
Tour price: The price shown is based on the best value travel dates in low season and includes return flights from Kota Kinabalu or Kuching, two nights accommodation, entrance fees, transfers and services of an English speaking guide. A good level of fitness is required for the tour especially on day 2 and is therefore, not recommended for the less mobile.
