Kinabalu National Park 1 night
Day 1 Kota Kinabalu/Kinabalu National Park: Scenic drive to Kinabalu Park passing villages and paddy fields along mountainous roads. En route, make a brief stop at Nabalu Market where locals sell fruits, home grown vegetables and handicrafts. Continue to Poring Hot Springs where you will enjoy lunch. Afterwards, hike for around 20 minutes to the Canopy Walkway, where suspension bridges are set 134 feet above the ground and extend for over 500 feet. The next attraction, a butterfly farm, features a garden, nursery and hatchery for education, research and preservation purposes. After which, you can take a dip in the open-air Japanese styled bathtub and soak up the invigorating waters which contain natural hot sulphuric minerals thought to have therapeutic effects. Transfer to your mountain resort in Kinabalu Park and rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 Kinabalu Park/Kota Kinabalu: Wake early to catch the sunrise to fully appreciate the imposing beauty of Mount Kinabalu. After breakfast, enjoy the refreshing cooler air as you proceed for an educational walk along the nature trails in the Botanical Garden. Kinabalu Park boasts an estimated 4,500 species of plants which include 1,500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu. The park also supports 289 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies. After a visit to the Mountain Garden and Exhibition Hall you have the option to explore the many nature trails around Kinabalu Park. After lunch stop at the Park headquarters to receive the World Heritage Site Certificate before the transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.

Accommodation: At a mountain resort in Kinabalu Park which will be allocated at time of booking. Accommodation is basic with limited facilities.
