Days 1-2: Depart on an evening flight from the UK to Sydney

Day 3 Sydney: On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 4 Sydney: At leisure. See the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Darling Harbour and more.

Day 5 Sydney/Cruise: A further morning at leisure before an afternoon transfer to the port.

Day 6 Sydney: The ship remains in port, so you can hop ashore and perhaps visit Bondi or Manly Beach, or for soaring views head to the summit of Sydney Tower Eye.

Day 7 At sea: Relax poolside or treat yourself at the spa.

Day 8 Melbourne: This bustling metropolis flaunts trendy bars, a chic cafe scene, a selection of art galleries and museums as well as numerous iconic sporting arenas.

Day 9 Burnie: Overlooking Emy Bay on the north west of Tasmania, this vibrant city has sand and surf lapping at the door. Excursions give a taste of the Tasmanian scenery and wildlife, including the Tasmanian devil.

Day 10 At sea: Enjoy time on the pool deck, find a quiet space for reading at Tor's Observation Library or indulge at the spa which is an inviting sanctuary of pure bliss.

Day 11 Hobart: Straddling the Derwent River at the foot of Mt Wellington's forested slopes, Hobart is very scenic. Make your way to Salamanca Place whose sandstone buildings brim with bars, restaurants and galleries.

Days 12-13 At sea: Be as idle or active as you choose.

Day 14 Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound & Dusky Sound: Fiordland is one of New Zealand's premier attractions and perfectly viewed from the ship. Stand on deck and take in the rugged mountain ranges, dense rainforest, lakes and water g your eyes peeled for marine wildlife.

Day 15 At sea: Discover the Arts Cafe, which hosts varied and exciting exhibitions.

Day 16 Dunedin (Port Chalmers): Admire the Victorian and Edwardian architecture, take a tour of Larnach Castle, go sea kayaking or book an Otago Wildlife Cruise.

Day 17 Christchurch (Lyttleton): Colourful Lyttleton brims with bohemian artists, cafes, quirky shops and restaurants. It's also just 20 minute's drive from Christchurch, a genteel picturesque city where punters ply the Avon River and there are beautiful Botanic Gardens to explore.

Day 18 Wellington: Arguably New Zealand's most cosmopolitan city, there's a booming arts scene and culture aplenty, particularly at Te Papa Tongarewa Museum.

Day 19 Napier: This historic art deco city lies in the heart of New Zealand's oldest wine region, Hawke's Bay.

Day 20 Tauranga: Tauranga claims to be one of the country's sunniest towns, so you may like to head to the neighbouring beach resort of Mount Maunganui. Alternatively, tours to Rotorua are available.

Day 21 Cruise/Auckland: Disembark and transfer to your hotel and begin your explorations of Auckland.

Day 22 Auckland: Attractions in the City of Sails include the Sky Tower, the Harbour Bridge and great shopping.

Day 23 Auckland/Dubai: Transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to the United Arab Emirates.

Day 24 Dubai: On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and the remainder of the day is free to explore.

Day 25 Dubai: Attractions include the Burj Khalifa, vast shopping malls, fascinating souks and inviting beaches.

Accommodation: 2 nights before your cruise at Hyatt Regency Sydney; 16 nights in a vista suite aboard Silver Muse; 2 nights after your cruise at Heritage Auckland and 2 nights at Le Royal Meridien, Dubai.
