Day 1: Fly to Bangkok.
Day 2 Bangkok: On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 Bangkok: At leisure to explore. The city’s glorious golden temples and palaces are must-sees for any visitor, be it the spectacular Grand Palace or the stunning riverside Temple of Dawn.
Day 4 Bangkok/Laem Chabang: At leisure before you are transferred to Laem Chabang.
Day 5 Laem Chabang/Cruise: Embarkation begins early this morning, with the remainder of the day free to familiarise yourself with the many amenities or perhaps step ashore again to explore.
Day 6 Kampot, Cambodia: This enchanting riverside town is sure to charm with its colourful colonial French architecture, sleepy atmosphere and natural beauty. Stroll along the promenade for views of the river or journey into the countryside to visit rice paddies, fishing villages or even kayak along the river.
Day 7 At sea: From top to bottom, and from bow to stern, you’ll find lots of onboard activities. Perhaps indulge in a refreshing swim in the pool or a relaxing dip in a hot tub, before treating yourself to some pampering at Mandara Spa.
Day 8 Nha Trang, Vietnam: Along with its sandy beaches and picturesque Bay, Nha Trang is known for having one of the longest cable cars in the world. So, if you have a head for heights take the two mile ride to Hon Tre Island and you’re rewarded with simply amazing views. Other attractions here include
Po Nagar Cham Towers and the Long Song Pagoda.
Day 9 Hue/Danang (Chan May), Vietnam: In Danang, perhaps visit the Cham Museum which is filled with a rich collection of artefacts. Alternatively, head to nearby Hue, a city of pagodas, temples and royal tombs.
Day 10 Hanoi (Halong Bay), Vietnam: Dotted with thousands of limestone islets, Halong Bay is a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site that calls out to be explored. Hop on a kayak or take a boat tour to get close to these jungle-capped karst wonders. If history draws you, head to Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, which has been dubbed the “Paris of Asia” thanks to its French colonial architecture.
Day 11 At sea: A further chance to soak up the relaxed onboard atmosphere, and spend the day as you choose.
Day 12 Hong Kong: After disembarking this morning, you are transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to set out and discover the delights of this former British colony. For sweeping skyline views take the funicular tram to Victoria Peak, or hop aboard the historic Star Ferry for a bargain ride across Victoria Harbour.
Day 13 Hong Kong: If shopping is your thing, you’ll find ample places to part with your cash in Hong Kong, be it bustling markets, fascinating antique shops or air-conditioned malls filled with familiar stores.
Day 14 Hong Kong: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Why not add a beach extension in Thailand, Vietnam, Bali or the Middle East.
