Day 1: Fly to Singapore.
Day 2 Singapore: On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to unwind or start sightseeing.
Day 3 Singapore: At leisure. Perhaps take a ride on the Singapore Flyer, visit the extraordinary Gardens by the Bay, browse the shops of Orchard Road and dine alfresco at Clarke Quay.
Day 4 Singapore/Cruise: Transfer to the port to board Diamond Princess.
Day 5 Malacca, Malaysia: This quaint city-state may be a modern city but the architectural legacy of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonists is plain to see with forts, museums, churches and towers scattered around the historic quarter.
Day 6 Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Malaysia: Malaysia’s capital is a fast-rising metropolis which effortlessly blends its colonial past with space-age towers and mega malls. Don’t miss the soaring Petronas Twin Towers and the handsome buildings of Merdeka Square.
Day 7 Penang, Malaysia: Embracing modernity while preserving its traditions, Penang is a fascinating fusion of east and west. The island’s lively capital, George Town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and well worth exploring.
Day 8 Phuket, Thailand: You may well be drawn to one of the island’s handsome beaches for a day of lazing and swimming within the crystalline waters.
Day 9 Langkawi, Malaysia: Boasting blissful beaches, vibrant coral reefs, jungle-clad hills and towering limestone karsts, Langkawi is quite simply stunning. If you don’t mind heights, hop aboard the SkyCab (cable car) for amazing views over rainforest and lush valleys.
Day 10 At sea: Unwind on a lounger beside the sparkling pool or take a long soak in a whirling hot tub. The choice is yours!
Day 11 Singapore: With a return to Singapore, you have the chance to see more of the sights. If time allows why not head to the renowned Raffles Hotel for a Singapore Sling or two.
Day 12 At sea: If you feel the need to be active, the sports courts are the place for you. If that’s all too much, head out on deck to laze the day away.
Day 13 Koh Samui, Thailand: Relax on a powdery white sand beach, don your snorkel and splash around in the sea or, perhaps take a trip to see the incredible Big Buddha or Na Muang Waterfall.
Day 14 Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Thailand: Laem Chabang is your gateway to Bangkok, a magical place of shimmering temples, bustling markets, colourful tuk tuks and longtail speedboats. Don’t miss the Grand Palace or perhaps take a river cruise to glimpse Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn.
Day 15 At sea: A further day to do as much or as little as you wish.
Day 16 Ho Chi Minh City (Phu My), Vietnam: This bustling metropolis on the Mekong River is Vietnam at its most dizzying. While gleaming skyscrapers have appeared in recent years, time-honoured traditions remain intact and there’s a variety of delightful districts to discover. A tour to the nearby Cu Chi Tunnels is recommended.
Day 17 At sea: A final day to get together with new friends and enjoy the host of onboard facilities.
Day 18 Singapore: After disembarking this morning, you are transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

Accommodation: 2 nights before your cruise at Park Regis, Singapore; and 14 nights in an interior stateroom aboard Diamond Princess.
Meals: Room only in Singapore. Full board on cruise.
