ravel to Port Douglas for a tropical breakfast at the Wildlife Habitat for ‘Breakfast with the Birds’. Travel onwards and cross the Daintree River on the cable-driven ferry and along the rainforest-fringed Cape Tribuation Road through Daintree National Park, a magnificent wilderness region. After lunch there is time for a swim or walk along the spectacular beach before a guided rainforest walk. On the return journey enjoy a Daintree River Cruise where you can hope to spot crocodiles, birds and other wildlife as you journey through the mangroves. Travel to Mossman Gorge and enjoy a 1½ hour guided rainforest walk. Your experienced guides demonstrate traditional plant use, identify bush tucker sources, share dreamtime legends and explain cave paintings. Later take a Daintree River cruise watching for birds, tree snakes, unique plants and the estuarine crocodile. Enjoy a short tour of historical Port Douglas before the tour concludes. Board the Kuranda Scenic Rail and set off travelling through hand-hewn tunnels and across bridges with amazing views. Stop at Barron Gorge to view the falls before arriving at beautiful Kuranda station. The rest of the day is free to explore the ‘Village in the Rainforest’. Later, board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your return journey, gliding silently over and through the rainforest.
