Day 1 Perth/Cervantes: Travel north to Yanchep National Park with its unique flora and fauna. Stop and take one of the treks or visit Crystal Cave. Continue to Cervantes, the entry point to the Pinnacles Desert within the Nambung National Park.
Day 2 Cervantes/Kalbarri: Travel through the Kalbarri National Park, with acres of bushland and scenic gorges.
Day 3 Kalbarri/Carnarvon: Enter Shark Bay World Heritage & Marine Park, an area dotted with spectacular beaches. Carnarvon is one of the main places for growing tropical fruits and tours of banana plantations can be arranged locally.
Day 4 Carnarvon/Ningaloo Reef: The magnificent Ningaloo Reef lies along the Coral Coast. Here you can swim and snorkel viewing whale sharks, manta rays and tropical fish, yards from the beach.
Day 5 Ningaloo Reef: Day at leisure to explore.
Day 6 Ningaloo Reef/Monkey Mia: Early start venturing south along the coast to Monkey Mia. Here dolphins swim up to the beach (sightings are not guaranteed) and rangers hand feed them.
Day 7 Monkey Mia: Day at leisure to relax or explore the area.
Day 8 Monkey Mia/Geraldton: Head south through the Kalbarri National Park to Geraldton. Enjoy a coastal walk or stop at one of the many restaurants for some fabulous seafood.
Day 9 Geraldton/Perth: Travel back along the coast, before returning your hire car in Perth.
