Day 1 Adelaide/Grampians: As the train leaves Adelaide, take your time to settle in and familiarise yourself with your cabin. Enjoy morning tea and then a relaxed lunch on board while watching the ever-changing landscape glide by. In the late afternoon, the train will arrive in regional Victoria where you’ll have the chance to discover the beauty of the Grampians region. Enjoy an outdoor dining experience taking in the stunning natural surrounds and native wildlife. With options to take a guided walk, drive to a lookout or simply sit back and relax, your visit to the Grampians is sure to be a highlight.

Day 2 Grampians/Canberra: Enjoy a drive through the countryside on the way to the Australian capital. After lunch, you have a choice of tours at the National War Memorial, Parliament House, National Gallery of Australia or the National Museum of Australia. Alternatively, spend a relaxed day wine tasting and dining in the Murrumbateman food and wine region before returning to the train. Later in the day, relax over dinner and drinks in the lounge car before settling down for the night.

Day 3 Canberra/Brisbane: Choose your own adventure today with a variety of options to suit your fitness levels and interests. Opt for the Boardwalk to Beach excursion, stopping at the small station of Urunga before travelling to Coffs Harbour for a relaxing morning wandering around the harbourside markets or historic jetty. The Coffs Explorer excursion travels up to Sealy Lookout offering views for miles before travelling back to Coffs Harbour for time to explore. For golf enthusiasts there is an option to play nine holes at Bonville Golf Resort. After a final lunch on board, the train arrives into Brisbane where the tour concludes.

This journey is also available in reverse and includes an extra night aboard the train taking in Melbourne.

Gold Service from £1295:

Gold Service guests can opt for a single (compact cabin with a washbasin and bed that converts to a seat by day - shared toilet/shower facilities located at the end of the carriage); or twin (comfortable cabin with compact en suite facilities with 3-seater lounge that converts to upper and lower berths at night).

Platinum Service from £2449:

Guests enjoy spacious private cabins with large picture windows and large en suite facilities which offer a deluxe lounge by day and convert to either a full size double bed or twin beds by night. The en suite comprises of full size shower and toilet facilities. For a truly remarkable experience watch the sunrise in the outback whilst enjoying freshly prepared continental breakfast in bed! Refreshments are also served in-cabin.

Departures: 04 Dec 20-25 Jan 21 on a Friday from Adelaide or Monday from Brisbane.
