Day 1 Sydney: Depart Sydney in the afternoon. As the train ventures beyond the city limits and winds through the breathtaking Blue Mountains, explore the comforts of life oboard. Later, savour your first regionally-inspired dinner and perhaps join fellow guests for a late night drink.
Day 2 Broken Hill/Adelaide: Arrive in the ‘Silver City’ of Broken Hill as the day begins. Disembark for an included off-train excursion to discover the mining history and artistic culture of this unique town where the streets are wide and there’s a pub on every corner. Lunch is served onboard as the Indian Pacific enters the southern tip of the spectacular Flinders Ranges. Arriving in the city of Adelaide in the afternoon, you have the choice of a tour of the city, a visit to the world famous Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale wine regions (seasonal), or a trip to the beautiful Adelaide Hills featuring the culinary delights of Hahndorf.
Day 3 Rawlinna: Awake to the seemingly endless expanse of the Nullarbor Plain. Breakfast is served as you travel along the longest stretch of straight railway track in the world. This evening, your sense of wonder will be well and truly ignited as you enjoy the tranquillity of dinner under the brilliant stars in the remote and beautiful Rawlinna (seasonal).
Day 4 Perth: Breakfast is served as you glide through the mild skies and green vales of the Avon Valley, a truly picturesque part of the world. Arrive into the cosmopolitan city of Perth after lunch, which marks the end of your epic journey.
This journey is also available in reverse and includes an excursion to the Blue Mountains.

Gold Service from £1785:
Gold Service guests can opt for a single (compact cabin with a washbasin and bed that converts to a seat by day - shared toilet/shower facilities located at the end of the carriage); or twin (comfortable cabin with compact en suite facilities with 3-seater lounge that converts to upper and lower berths at night).
Platinum Service from £2899:
Guests enjoy spacious private cabins with large picture windows and large en suite facilities which offer a deluxe lounge by day and convert to either a full size double bed or twin beds by night. The en suite comprises of full size shower and toilet facilities. For a truly remarkable experience watch the sunrise in the outback whilst enjoying freshly prepared continental breakfast in bed! Refreshments are also served in-cabin.
