Day 7 Lakes Entrance: Boasting Australia’s largest inland network of waterways, Lakes Entrance is on the edge of Ninety Mile Beach where the Gippsland Lakes meet the Southern Ocean. Enjoy the pristine beach, kayak on a lake and perhaps feast on the area’s renowned seafood.

Day 8 Lakes Entrance/Phillip Island: Travel west through Victoria to Phillip Island. Ensure you arrive in time to see the nightly parade of Little Penguins as they march up the sand to their nesting places (approx 4 hours).

Day 9 Phillip Island/Melbourne: Continue your journey to Melbourne, taking time to stop and explore some of the coastal towns of the Mornington Peninsula along the way (approx 2 hours).

Day 10 Melbourne: Vibrant Melbourne offers a tangle of hidden laneways, tree-lined promenades, fantastic sports, diverse galleries, chic cafes, shops and more.
