Day 1 Sydney/Canberra: Morning departure for Canberra via the Southern Highlands. Stop at historic Berrima then visit Gold Creek Station and meet local sheep farmer, Craig Starr for a taste of life on the farm and an Aussie BBQ lunch. In Canberra, the country's capital, enjoy a tour through Parliament House then, visit the Australian War Memorial and hear the evocative Last Post.
Day 2 Canberra/Beechworth: Visit the summit of Mt Ainslie to take in views of Canberra and surrounds. Journey over the mighty Murray River into Victoria taking the scenic route to historic Beechworth, Victoria's best preserved gold rush town. Get to know Beechworth with a tour and enjoy some free time to explore the antique shops, galleries and the museum.
Day 3 Beechworth/Melbourne: Travel through Glenrowan and Ned Kelly country to culturally diverse and cosmopolitan Melbourne for a sightseeing tour.
Day 4 Melbourne: Today Melbourne is all yours to explore independently! Perhaps head to the Eureka Skydeck for fantastic views, explore Queen Victoria Market or discover Melbourne's famous laneways.
Day 5 Melbourne/Warrnambool: Today, enjoy one of the world's great road trips – the Great Ocean Road! Visit the quaint seaside towns of Lorne and Apollo Bay and the amazing Twelve Apostles. Later visit Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge before arriving in Warrnambool.
Day 6 Warrnambool/Naracoorte: This morning visit Worn Gundidj at Tower Hill State Game Reserve for an insight into Aboriginal culture. Travel onto Mt Gambier to visit mysterious Blue Lake and then to the Wynns Estate in the Coonawarra wine region for a wine tasting. Continue to Naracoorte for a guided walk through the Alexandria Cave.
Day 7 Naracoorte/Kangaroo Island: Journey to Fleurieu Peninsula and visit the seaside town of Victor Harbor. This afternoon board a ferry at Cape Jervis, bound for Kangaroo Island, famous for its unspoiled natural beauty. Begin with a visit to South Australia's only boutique distillery to taste a selection of handcrafted spirits. Travel on to Kingscote.
Day 8 Kangaroo Island: Today visit Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch in Flinders Chase National Park and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery, where you may even spot koalas, wallabies and kangaroos. Later visit Andermel Marron Farm where you'll see the marron (freshwater crayfish) tanks and enjoy a tasting of the farm's wine and farm-produced bush tucker before indulging in some marron for lunch. Afterwards join a ranger at Seal Bay Conservation Park for a guided walk among a colony of sea lions.
Day 9 Kangaroo Island/Adelaide: Board the ferry back to the mainland and travel to picturesque Adelaide. On arrival you have a choice of sightseeing: a guided tour of the Art Gallery, an Adelaide historic walking tour or alternatively, entry to Adelaide Zoo.
Day 10 Adelaide/The Barossa: First stop is picturesque Hahndorf where you can wander down the tree-lined streets to explore the quaint shops and perhaps taste some artisan produce. Enjoy a wine tasting overlooking the stunning vineyards before continuing to The Barossa for lunch at The Company Kitchen, who believe that a food experience is to be savoured and enjoyed. Finally, visit Jacobs Creek Estate to sample their world-famous wines before travelling back to Adelaide through the Barossa's rolling hills.
Day 11 Adelaide: After an indulgent trip, your tour concludes.
