Day 1: Fly to Melbourne.
Day 2 Melbourne: On arrival at Melbourne airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to relax and settle into your hotel or perhaps begin your explorations of this wonderful city.
Day 3 Melbourne: This morning experience the beautiful sights of Melbourne with a guided sightseeing tour. Hear about its wonderful history, famous buildings, sensational shopping, great sporting centres and universities. In the afternoon, an excursion is included to Phillip Island, home to the world-famous Little Penguins. Watch penguins march up the sand to their nesting places and enjoy time to browse through the educational centre and souvenir shops.
Day 4 Melbourne: Day at leisure. Perhaps explore the boutique shops in the city's hidden laneways, wander through the Birrarung Marr to the National Sports Museum or perhaps take an excursion.
Day 5 Melbourne/Alice Springs: Morning flight to Alice Springs. This afternoon is at leisure.
Day 6 Alice Springs/Uluru (Ayers Rock): On the way to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, visit a camel farm and take an optional camel ride (own expense). This afternoon travel around the base of Uluru then continue to the Kuniya Walk and the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole to view Aboriginal rock paintings. Later visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, before travelling to the Uluru sunset viewing area to see the striking colours of Uluru as the sun sets.
Day 7 Uluru: Rise early this morning and travel to the Uluru sunrise viewing area to glimpse the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre alight. Travel to mystical Kata Tjuta and the base of Walpa Gorge to explore. Return to Ayers Rock Resort and this evening enjoy the Sounds of Silence Dinner, then sit back and relax as a Star Talker gives you a tour of the Southern Night skies (conditions permitting).
Day 8 Uluru/Cairns: This morning, transfer to Ayers Rock Airport for your flight to Cairns. The afternoon is at leisure.
Day 9 Cairns: Enjoy a full day cruise to the World Heritagelisted Great Barrier Reef. Swim and snorkel in the warm, clear blue waters, or perhaps board the semi-submersible viewer for an underwater adventure amid the colourful coral and marine life.
Day 10 Cairns: At leisure. Stroll along the Esplanade, do some shopping or perhaps ride the Kuranda Skyrail Rainforest Cableway (own expense). Discover the pretty village of Kuranda before returning via the Kuranda Scenic Railway down to Cairns.
Day 11 Cairns/Sydney: Transfer to Cairns Airport for your flight to Sydney. On arrival the rest of the day is at leisure to explore.
Day 12 Sydney: This morning join a harbour story cruise viewing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Day 13 Sydney: The morning is at leisure and this afternoon join a Bondi Beach & Sydney Sights tour. Travel through the historic Rocks area and take in views of the Opera House, Hyde Park and Parliament House. Visit The Gap and enjoy stunning views, plus stop at the world-famous Bondi Beach for spectacular scenery.
Day 14 Sydney: After a morning at leisure, transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Or, you may wish to extend your holiday?
