Day 3 Hyden/Kalgoorlie: This morning, take an exclusive farm tour to learn about station life in the Outback. Pass through the former gold boomtown of Coolgardie and continue to Kalgoorlie for spectacular views over the famous Super Pit open-cut gold mine and an orientation tour of this historic town.

Day 4 Kalgoorlie/Esperance: Visit Cape Le Grand National Park with its wild coastal scenery, rugged granite peaks, sweeping heathlands and white sand beaches. At stunning Lucky Bay, you may see some of the local kangaroos that like to laze on the pristine beach.

Day 5 Esperance/Albany: Travel on through Ravensthorpe and the unique Fitzgerald Biosphere. Later, at Bluff Knoll Lookout, you'll witness the rugged beauty of the Stirling Ranges National Park. Continue to Albany, a town imbued with Anzac history.

Day 6 Albany: This morning take your time to explore seaside Albany, which boasts many fine heritage-listed buildings. Later, visit the acclaimed National Anzac Centre overlooking the harbour from which over 41,000 men and woman departed Australia for the Great War.

Day 7 Albany/Margaret River: Visit the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk this morning to explore the canopy of the majestic Tingle forest. Travel on to Cape Leeuwin, where the Indian and Great Southern Oceans meet. You may like to take an optional guided tour to the top of the famous lighthouse (additional expense) before leaving for Margaret River, one of Australia's premier wine-growing regions. Beaches and surf breaks line the nearby coast, whose waters host migratory whales (June-November).

Day 8 Margaret River: First up you'll see fossils, stalactites and stalagmites, in the impressive caves of the region. Then get ready to delight your taste buds! Margaret River is known for its fabulous wines and its boutique producers, and you'll visit a local winery for tastings and a lunch prepared from fresh local produce.

Day 9 Margaret River/Fremantle: On arrival in Fremantle, the afternoon is free to explore. Maybe visit the colourful Fremantle Markets or perhaps wander along the foreshore to observe the impressive fishing fleet.

Day 10 Fremantle: Join a local guide this morning for a private tour of historic convict-era Fremantle Prison. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps take an optional boat trip to Rottnest Island, or closer to home, a ride on the popular Fremantle Tram (both additional expense).

Day 11 Fremantle/Geraldton: Travel north along the coast, stopping in Yanchep National Park for an Aboriginal cultural experience. Continue past the seaside hamlet of Lancelin pausing to see the marvellous Pinnacles, before exploring the seaside township of Geraldton.

Day 12 Geraldton/Monkey Mia: Begin your day at Shell Beach, formed from billions of tiny cockle shells. Travel on to the blue waters and pristine beaches of Monkey Mia.

Day 13 Monkey Mia: After a leisurely breakfast, watch for the famous Monkey Mia dolphins which regularly swim into shore to be fed. The rest of the day is at leisure, so you may like to take an optional scenic flight over Shark Bay Marine Park or a wildlife cruise (both additional expense).

Day 14 Monkey Mia/Kalbarri: Travel to Hamelin Pool to discover a unique colony of stromatolites, described as the earliest record of life on earth.
