Days 1-2: Fly to Auckland
Day 3 Auckland: On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 4 Auckland: At leisure to explore the City of Sails. Take in the views from the Sky Tower, the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest building. If you prefer to stay at ground level you’ll find lots to see and do; or, book a harbour cruise and soak up the skyline from the water.
Day 5 Auckland/Cruise: Sightsee or shop before transferring to the port to board ms Oosterdam.
Day 6 Rotorua (Tauranga), New Zealand: Tauranga’s location within the Bay of Plenty ensures an array of waterfocused activities. It’s also a great jumping off point for the geothermal wonderland of Rotorua.
Day 7 Napier, New Zealand: Stroll around the historic district to see its Art Deco architecture; head out to the Hawke’s Bay wine region or visit Cape Kidnappers.
Day 8 Wellington, New Zealand: This cool capital is home to an astonishing number of art galleries, libraries and museums. Take a ride on the Kelburn Cable Car to the top of the Botanical Gardens or, for an insight into the country’s people and culture, we recommend a visit to Te Papa Tangarewa museum.
Day 9 Christchurch (Akaroa), New Zealand: Established by the French, Akaroa has a distinctly continental flair. You may opt to visit Christchurch, visit surrounding bays or search for wildlife.
Day 10 Dunedin (Port Chalmers), New Zealand: See the array of Victorian and Edwardian buildings, tour Larnach Castle or explore the Otago Peninsula.
Day 11 Fiordland National Park (cruising): Soak up the views of mountains, lakes, fjords and rainforests. Countless plant and animal species find a haven here and offshore, seals, dolphins and whales frequent the waters.
Days 12-13 At sea: Two full days at sea to relax, join a workshop or cooking class.
Day 14 Hobart, Australia: Tasmania’s capital is home to one of the world’s best museums of contemporary art, vibrant markets and an achingly beautiful natural harbour.
Day 15 Port Arthur, Australia: This small town is best known for its past as a penal colony. Today its sandstone buildings make up one of several UNESCO designated Australian Convict Sites on Tasmania.
Day 16 At sea: Relax by the pool or stroll on deck.
Day 17 Melbourne, Australia: Be sure to stroll the famous laneways which bustle with bars and eateries, visit a gallery or museum; or take a tour of the esteemed MCG.
Day 18 At sea: Relax by the pool or stroll on deck.
Day 19 Cruise/Sydney: Rise early to enjoy the ship’s approach to Sydney through its striking harbour with the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Disembark this morning and you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to begin your explorations or relax at the hotel.
Day 20 Sydney: Don’t miss Sydney Opera House or the Harbour Bridge. Head to nearby Manly Beach, stroll around Darling Harbour or visit the Botanic Gardens.
Day 21 Sydney/Dubai: Transfer to the airport for your flight to Dubai. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Day 22 Dubai: Highlights include the Burj Khalifa, shopping at the Dubai Mall or atmospheric souks; inviting Jumeirah Beach or take a trip out to the desert.
Day 23 Dubai: You will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

Accommodation: 2 nights before your cruise at Copthorne Auckland; 14 nights in an inside cabin aboard ms Oosterdam; 2nights after your cruise at Travelodge Wynyard, Sydney and 2 nights at Manzil Downtown, Dubai.
