Comprised of a downtown area with its markets and local cantinas and then, the 14 mile Hotel Zone that has restaurants, shopping malls, nightclubs and an extra-long stretch of beach, while on the inland side is Laguna Nichupté, a vast lagoon that serves as home to numerous marinas, restaurants, shopping malls and golf courses.
