Day 1 Whitehorse: Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you will receive an orientation meeting with details of what to expect during your stay. The rest of the day is yours until your first evening excursion to hopefully catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis, commonly known as the Northern Lights. This magnificent spectacle of magnetic and electrical charges colours the sky a multitude of majestic hues. Return to the hotel at approximately 02.30.

Highlights include Main Street, Log Skyscraper, Log Church, the Sternwheeler SS Klondike and Schwatka Lake. There is then time to relax at the hotel, or book an optional activity such as dogsledding, ice fishing, flightseeing or snowshoeing (all additional expense). At around 10pm, set off for another chance to spy the Northern Lights. While waiting, you are invited to sit at a roaring bonfire, roast marshmallows, have hot drinks and chat with local guides.

Day 3 Whitehorse: If you are travelling between 01 Oct-30 Nov, you will visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve for the opportunity to view wildlife such as Dall sheep, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, musk-ox, moose and even lynx. To cap off a great day, you will also travel to the nearby Takhini Hot Springs which provide a warm sanctuary amid the cold weather. Tonight you will have a further excursion to watch out for the Northern Lights.
