Day 1 San Francisco/Yosemite National Park: Collect your hire car and drive to Yosemite National Park, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering more than 1,100 square miles, Yosemite features amazing natural beauty and is the ultimate year-round outdoor playground.
Day 2 Yosemite National Park: Perhaps begin your explorations in the Valley Floor, which is well-known for its incredible views of Half Dome, El Capitan, Glacier Point, Sentinel Rock and Yosemite Falls. It’s relatively flat which makes it ideal for walking or biking, however shuttle buses and tours are also available.
Day 3 Yosemite National Park: Yosemite is truly a paradise for any hiker. Easy trails such as Lower Yosemite Falls and Bridalveil will suit those seeking a short walk that brings you close to these wonders. More challenging trails include Mist Trail, Four Mile Trail or Sentinel Dome Trail. An array of seasonal activities are available such as rafting, climbing lessons, trail rides, ice skating and snowboarding.
Day 4 Yosemite National Park/San Francisco: Enjoy further time to marvel at this incredible natural spectacle. If visiting in spring, this is the best time to experience the waterfalls, which include Bridalveil, Nevada, Ribbon and Yosemite. Later, return to San Francisco where your tour concludes. Alternatively, continue your journey through Death Valley to Las Vegas?
