Walking Festival: Held in May every year, there are a large range of guided walks to tempt you, from historic trails to scenic hikes.
Round the Island Race: This yacht race in early July is sailing’s answer to the London Marathon with over 1,500 boats, crewed by some of the biggest names in sailing as well as keen amateur sailors. Spectators can enjoy fantastic views of all the action from many points on the island’s breathtaking coastline.
Cowes Week: The world’s oldest and largest annual sailing regatta and an iconic feature of the British sporting calendar, takes place late July/early August and boasts an 8 day schedule combining competitive racing and great fun for competitors and spectators alike.
Isle of Wight Festival: The award-winning Isle of Wight Festival takes place mid-September and is famed for mixing iconic legendary artists with the hottest up-and-coming acts. Year on year, festival goers have enjoyed the friendly vibe, beautiful location and great atmosphere.
