Adventure Park; Valley Adventure Centre; Woodlands Farm, where you can meet a real Jersey cow; and the world-famous Jersey Zoo. For more details see our Attractions & Heritage page.

Activities for all the family

Jersey is an adventure playground all year round, so you’ll have no problem getting younger family members to unplug from digital distractions and enjoy the great outdoors.

Take the opportunity to try watersports such as kayaking, windsurfing, stand-up paddeboarding or coasteering. Perhaps join Jersey Walk Adventures for a rockpool ramble with the experts. They offer a range of walks exploring the internationally recognised Ramsar Wetlands site, a marine version of Jersey National Park. Don’t miss their Bioluminescence trip (advance booking required), where you head out after dark at low tide in search of tiny creatures which glow in the dark like fireflies or glow worms. Further details can be found at jerseywalkadventures.com

If you prefer to keep your feet on dry land, why not hire a bike and explore on two wheels instead, or perhaps try out horse riding, tennis, archery, ziplining or golf. For more details see our activities page.

Family-friendly accommodation

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay that offers a slightly more relaxed atmosphere that both you, your children and larger family groups can enjoy together, then you may wish to consider some of our accommodation suggestions.

If you want to be in the heart of town, lots of hotels in St Helier provide family rooms and offer a pool, including the Hampshire, the Monterey, the Mayfair and the Apollo. Another option, overlooking the marina is the Radisson Blu Waterfront, while near to Howard Davis Park, is the Merton, which has an incredible range of facilities all ages will love and on the outskirts of St Helier is the Westhill which has an outdoor play area.

If you’d rather be by the beach, then look no further than the great selection in St Brelade’s, which includes the Golden Sands, St Brelade’s Bay Hotel and L’Horizon Hotel & Spa.

If it’s a luxury family bolthole you’re after, check out the 5* Longueville Manor which is a member of Relais & Chateaux, or the Atlantic Hotel, which is a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, or alternatively, consider the countryside retreat of La Place Hotel and Country Cottages.

If you’re an active bunch and like the freedom that self-catering gives you, then we’d highly recommend Les Ormes Resort.
